Artist Bio – KRISTIN ANDERSON
Kristin is a ceremonial photographer, multidisciplinary artist, and spiritual mentor whose work bridges sacred ritual and visual storytelling. Rooted in themes of transformation, embodiment, and feminine reclamation, her art invites viewers and participants into deeper connection with their inner wisdom and the divine nature.
As a photographer, Kristin specializes in creating transformative portrait experiences that go beyond the lens. Her current project, The Elder Crown, honors women over 55 through ceremonial photo sessions by the Gulf of Mexico. These sessions are not simply portraits, they are rites of passage that celebrate a woman’s transition into the Elder stage of life. Inspired by the mythic energy of the sea goddess Salacia, and her own journey through menopause, The Elder Crown merges photography with ceremony and archetypal activation, capturing the natural beauty and power of women stepping into their next chapter.
Based in St Petersburg Florida, Kristin’s artistic practice is deeply informed by nature, energy work, over 30 years in the image making business and her own healing path.
Her photography serves as a sacred mirror, helping people remember who they truly are, and reflecting that radiance to light the path for those who follow.
